Laura Remington, Executive Vice-President/CFO

Laura has been involved in theater since she was the age of 13.  She founded and directed the Voices, a choir for students in a local Westchester school, for nine years.  Laura is currently employed as an engineer in a Westside aerospace company.

Jeff Remington, Chairman of the Board

Jeff spent several years on stage in both school and community productions before becoming involved with directing.  He produced shows for a local Westside school and founded Music West, Inc. in 2004.  Jeff currently works in Property Management at a local aerospace corporation, and was a Westchester resident for over 30 years.

Mary Michlovich, Director

Mary has a degree in Theatre Arts from Marymount College, Tarrytown, N.Y. She has performed in a number of plays and musicals and has been performing with Music West with her daughters since 2011. Her other passion is working as Executive Director for OPICA Adult Day Program & Counseling Center, a nonprofit organization that provides support for adults with memory loss and their families. Mary has extensive experience with nonprofit governance and compliance matters

Carolyn Epstein, Director

Carolyn Epstein began studying music at five years old, before she could reach the piano pedals.  She has since educated herself at opportune points in her career, including the indulgence of opera training in New York.  Carolyn joined Music West in 2010 and was captivated by the hidden talent.  Her theatre support continues while she maintains the Law Offices of Carolyn J. Epstein, her legal practice with offices in the Los Angeles area.

Anna Cody, Secretary

Anna is a self-employed graphic designer, photographer, and webmaster for small businesses and local organizations.  She is a big fan of theatre and music, and proud to be associated with Music West and the invaluable performing opportunities and entertainment it provides to the community.

Christopher Kaczor, Director

Christopher Kaczor is Acting Chair and Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.  He holds a PhD. from the University of Notre Dame and is the author of ten books.

Jennifer Kaczor, Director

Jennifer Kaczor holds a Master's Degree in English from Western Washington University.  She is the author of many articles on family life.  

Hannah Sornborger, Vice-President of Productions and Outreach

Hannah has been involved in music since she was very young. She has studied piano and voice consistently for over seven years and is a musician at churches in the Westchester area. Hannah has enjoyed being a part of the Music West community since 2011 and hopes to continue to share the joy of community theatre.

Mark Calde, President

Mark holds an MA in Communication Arts with an emphasis on writing from Loyola University.  He is a published novelist and his love of theater has led him to produce, direct and stage manage both in a volunteer capacity and professionally.

Eddie Ozawa, Director

Eddie has been part of the teaching profession for 15 years, and currently works for a westside aerospace company. In addition to teaching, he has coached a variety of sports such as volleyball, softball and basketball.  He has enjoyed all the Music West Inc., productions and is excited to be part of such a wonderful company. 

Lisa Scaltrito, Director

Lisa has been an educator for over twenty years!  She has taught kindergarten through eighth grade.  After watching some of her students perform in a Music West production, she couldn't wait to become a part of the team! Who knows where this will lead?

Leslie Dennis, Director

Leslie studied piano and voice for more than ten years. She has since become a serial volunteer in local school and community theatre productions.
